Privacy Policy

Visiting a website about addiction recovery is a personal thing. We built this site so that you can read everything on it without leaving a stored trace on your device, and without us knowing who you are. This page explains exactly what we do and do not collect, in plain language.

Browsing this site

• We do not use cookies and we store nothing on your device. There is no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to.
• We use privacy-respecting analytics (PostHog, hosted in the EU) to count anonymous page views, so we can see which pages help people and where visitors find us. It runs entirely in your browser's memory: when you close the tab, nothing remains. We cannot recognise you if you come back.
• We do not use advertising trackers or social media pixels, and we do not sell or share browsing data with anyone.

When you contact us

If you send an enquiry or request a callback, the details you give us (your name, contact details and message) are delivered to us by email and used only to respond to you. They are not added to a marketing list and are not shared with anyone outside Beyond Addiction Retreats. We keep enquiry emails only for as long as they are useful for helping you, and delete them on request.

Booking a retreat

Bookings are taken through BookWhen, our booking provider, which has its own privacy policy covering the information you enter there. Payment details never pass through this website.

Who processes data for us

This website is hosted by Vercel. Form messages are delivered by Resend and our email runs on Google Workspace. Analytics are processed by PostHog on servers in the European Union. Each of these providers processes data only on our instructions.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask us what information we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Because we collect so little, this is usually just your enquiry emails. Write to us at Hello@BeyondAddictionRetreats.org and we will sort it quickly. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

Changes to this policy

If we change how the site handles information, we will update this page and the date at the top before the change takes effect.
